I worked over a two-year period as a member of a project management team together with clinicians, researchers, patients and health administrators from across the country to create and pilot a series of ‘Owners’ Manuals’ for people undergoing surgery for hip replacements etc.

My role was to chair meetings and lead workshops to elicit contributions from participants, to integrate the results into a comprehensive product on which there could be consensus among all stakeholders
and to work with partners (British Heart Foundation, National Joint Registery) to pursue options for rolling the project out.
